Day One of the Dog Trial Finals We had a great day at the trials yesterday. The weather was sunny and beautiful, and COLD! We had to remind ourselves it wasn’t the Iditarod 😉 The trials are being held just outside of Taihape, NZ. If you don’t know, Taihape is the Gumboot Capital of the World…and for the record, our “Southeast Florshiem’s” aka, Xtratuf are the Alaska version of Gumboots, and we put them to good use.
